Over 10 injured following multi-vehicle crash on Southern Expressway

An accident has reportedly occurred on the Southern Expressway between the Gelanigama and Dodangoda interchanges.
The accident had occurred when a bus carrying schoolchildren collided with a cab, causing several other vehicles travelling behind it to crash into one another.
The accident involved two buses, and six cars which collided with one another.
More than 10 people have reportedly been admitted to hospital following the accident.
Following the accident, police have diverted vehicles travelling from Galle to Colombo through the Dodangoda exit.
