Dates announced for LPL 2024

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced the dates for the 5th edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2024.
Thereby, Sri Lanka’s much-awaited T20 franchise cricket tournament is scheduled to be held from July 01 - 21 this year.
The five-team competition will consist of a total of 24 games, the national cricket board said in a press release.
The first round will have 20 matches, while the final round will have 4 matches, including qualifiers 1 and 2 and the eliminator.
Each team will consist of a minimum of 20 players and a maximum of 24 players with 6 overseas players.
