Sri Lanka set 188-run target for Afghanistan

Sri Lanka posted a score of 187 runs in the first innings of the second T20 match against Afghanistan at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium (RDICS) on Monday.
Angelo Mathews (42*) and Sadeera Samarawickrama (51) put up a 66-run partnership in 34 balls, with the latter scoring his maiden T20 half-century, taking Sri Lanka over the 150-mark.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi (2/25) and Azmatullah Omarzai (2/40) both took two wickets each.
Earlier today, Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bowl first.
