In a spirited display of camaraderie and sportsmanship, the Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd (MCC) hosted its much-anticipated Annual Cricket Tournament 2024 at the Siyane National College Ground in Veyangoda. Bringing together teams comprising both Chinese and Sri Lankan staff, as well as esteemed members of the Road Development Authority and consultant staff, the tournament marked yet another milestone in MCC’s commitment to fostering collaboration and teamwork.

Eight teams have participated for the tournament from MCC, RDA, Consultant and the Asset Group.

Finally, the RDA and the Asset group team has selected for the final match and the RDA has awarded the MCC Annual Cricket Tournament 2024.

The MCC’s rich legacy in the Sri Lankan construction market spanning over 15 years has been characterized by landmark projects that have significantly contributed to the nation’s infrastructure development. From the Colombo-Katunayake Expressway to the Outer Circular Highway project Section III, MCC’s expertise and dedication have been instrumental in shaping Sri Lanka’s modern landscape.

“Aside from our professional commitments, events like the Annual Cricket Tournament allow us to unwind and build stronger connections with our colleagues,” remarked Chinese Management at MCC. “It’s heartening to see everyone come together in the spirit of friendly competition and mutual respect.”
