Sri Lanka names 18-member squad for Bangladesh Test series

The Cricket Selection Committee has selected an 18-member squad, led by Dhananjaya de Silva, for the first Test of the two-match series against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said.
Issuing a statement, SLC said that Lahiru Kumara, though selected, will miss the match due to an injury sustained during practice.
The squad has received the approval of the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Sunil Kumara Gamage.
SLC further added that the two-match Test series will commence on June 17, 2025, and conclude on June 21, 2025, at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.
