SL vs. BAN 1st ODI: Sri Lanka opts to bat first against Bangladesh at Premadasa

Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka has won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangladesh in the opening One Day International of the three-match series at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
Paceman Milan Rathnayake received his ODI cap today.
He became the 217th player to represent Sri Lanka in ODIs.
The Lankans have won 43 of the previous 57 ODIs played with Bangladesh and enter this series as strong favorites.
Sri Lanka also won the recently concluded two-match Test series between the teams 1-0 after claiming an innings victory over the visitors at the SSC on Saturday.
