2025 Asia Rugby U20s Sevens: Sri Lanka beat China to reach the final

Sri Lanka defeated China 26-17 to reach the finals of the Asia Rugby Men’s U20s Sevens 2025 tournament in Bihar, India.
Playing in humid conditions, the Lankans showed their impressive skillsets scoring four tries against China.
At lemons, the Lankans led 14-12.
The junior Tuskers won all three group stage encounters yesterday and topped the group.
The Lankans defeated Hong Kong, India and UAE in the pool stage.
Meanwhile, in the women’s draw, Sri Lanka will take on the UAE in the plate category.
The Sri Lanka-UAE encounter is scheduled to get underway at 11:40 a.m.
A total of 16 teams, eight men’s and eight women’s teams, are competing over two action-packed days in a round-robin format, with the top two teams in each pool advancing to the Cup semi-finals. The remaining teams will compete for the Plate, ensuring competitive rugby throughout the tournament.
