September 23, 2025 07:40 pm
Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha chose to field first after winning the toss against Sri Lanka in match No. 15 of the 2025 Asia Cup at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
Salman Ali Agha’s side will be eager to bounce back after suffering back-to-back defeats against India, including their opening Super Four encounter. The Men in Green will look to revive their campaign with a crucial win.
Sri Lanka are under pressure after losing their first Super Four match to Bangladesh by four wickets while defending 169.
Despite a perfect group-stage run with three wins, another loss on Tuesday could end the Lankan Lions’ hopes of making it to the final.
