FIFA and Adidas have officially unveiled Trionda, the match ball for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The new ball continues the legacy of innovative World Cup designs, combining advanced performance technology with a sleek, modern look.
According to Adidas, Trionda is built for precision, stability, and speed, featuring a new 20-panel design aimed at improving control and flight accuracy. The company said the ball’s texture and aerodynamic shape were developed after years of testing with players across the world.
Trionda’s name is inspired by the number three, symbolizing the three host nations of the upcoming tournament. Its design reflects the unity and diversity of North America, with patterns and colours representing the spirit of football fans across all three countries.
FIFA officials praised Adidas for creating another high-quality match ball that meets top international standards, ensuring fair play and consistency on the field. The 2026 World Cup will kick off in June, with 48 teams competing, the largest in tournament history.
