Vikram Rathour to be appointed as Sri Lanka batting coach ahead of T20 World Cup

Former India batter Vikram Rathour is expected to be appointed as Sri Lanka batting coach ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Rathour, who served as India’s batting coach until 2024, is currently the assistant coach of IPL side Rajasthan Royals.

He is scheduled join the Sri Lanka team on January 15.

The 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, co-hosted by Board of Control for Cricket in India and Sri Lanka Cricket will be held from February 7 to March 8, 2026.
