England cricket team arrives in Sri Lanka for white-ball tour

The England cricket team has arrived in Sri Lanka for a white-ball tour.

The English team landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at around 08:20 a.m.

Airport police, Special Task Force (STF) personnel and Ministry of Defence officials were deployed for security following the team’s arrival, Ada Derana reporter said.

England is scheduled to take on Sri Lanka in three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) during the tour.

The ODIs will be played at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo while the T20Is are scheduled to take place at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

England squad for ODIs in Sri Lanka: Harry Brook, Rehan Ahmed, Tom Banton, Jacob Bethell, Jos Buttler, Brydon Carse, Zak Crawley, Sam Curran, Liam Dawson, Ben Duckett, Will Jacks, Jamie Overton, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Luke Wood.
