USA thrash Netherlands for first win in ICC T20 World Cup 2026

USA defeated the Netherlands by 93 runs in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. After losing two consecutive games against India and the USA, the Monank Patel-led team dominated the Men in Orange across departments.
Chasing 197 runs, Scott Edwards’ team was dismissed for 103 runs in 15.5 overs, with Harmeet Singh taking four wickets. Bas de Leede (23) was the top scorer for his team.
Earlier, Saiteja Mukkamalla (79 off 51), Shubham Ranjane (48* off 24) and Monank (36) made important contributions for the United States of America, taking the score to 196/6. Bas de Leede dismissed three batters.
