T20 WC: South Africa hammer West Indies by 9 wickets

South Africa defeated West Indies by nine wickets on Thursday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, also giving India a boost in their race to qualify for the semifinals.
South Africa continued their dominating run in the T20 World Cup and strengthened their chances of securing their berth in the semifinals.
On Thursday, the Proteas won their sixth match in a row in the tournament after beating West Indies by nine wickets in Ahmedabad.
But apart from South Africa, India also had reasons to rejoice as their semi-final fate somewhat depended on the game.
