St. Servatius’ College ends 55-year drought with victory at 126th Battle of the Blues Ruhuna

The Battle of the Blues Ruhuna, saw a historic triumph as St. Servatius’ College, Matara defeated St. Thomas’ College, Matara by five wickets, securing their first win in the annual cricket encounter in 55 years.
Batting first, St. Thomas’ College posted 158 runs in their first innings and followed up with 137 in the second innings, setting a target for their opponents.
In reply, St. Servatius’ College scored 118 in their first innings before successfully chasing down the target in the second innings, finishing on 180 for 5.
