Sri Lanka Men’s team crowned Champions at inaugural CASA 7s Rugby Tournament

Sri Lanka thrashed India 31-10 in the Men’s final to clinch the Cup Championship at the inaugural Central and South Asia (CASA) 7s Rugby Tournament in Tashkent, a short while ago.
Although, India opened the scoring in the final, Sri Lankan speedsters responded immediately with back-to-back tries.
Sri Lanka led 14-05 at lemons.
The second half saw, the Lankans showing their superior skills against the Indians scoring three unanswered tries to clinch the tournament.
Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, India, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan were part of the men’s segment of the tournament held for the first time in Tashkent.
