Sri Lanka beat Zimbabwe by eight wickets

Sri Lanka rode on a solid opening stand to chase down Zimbabwe’s 310 in the third ODI at Hambantota on Thursday.
Danushka Gunathilaka scored 116 while Niroshan Dickwella smashed 102 – his maiden ODI hundred.
The openers put on a 229-run stand and made easy work of the stiff chase. After twin tons from both the openers, Upul Tharanga and Kusal Mendis finished the chase in clinical fashion.
The result gives Sri Lanka 2-1 lead in the five-ODI series.
Sri Lanka, after electing to field, conceded 310 after Zimbabwe rode on Hamilton Masakadza’s 111-run knock gave the visitors a solid platform.
