‘Fedal’ unites to claim 2017 Laver cup for Team Europe

The first-ever Laver Cup came to fitting close with Roger Federer clinching the victory for Team Europe. The Swiss was pushed to the brink but ultimately outlasted Team World’s Nick Kyrgios, 4-6, 7-6 (6), 11-9.
Federer was ecstatic to win the Cup after an electric weekend that looked like anything but an exhibition. The biggest stars of the sport came together, capturing the attention of the world and leaving little doubt that the unconvential event has been a booming success.
The 2018 Laver Cup will be held in September 21-23 in Chicago.
