Yupun sets new Sri Lanka record in 100m

Sri Lanka’s Yupun Abeykoon has renewed the 100m national record with a timing of 10.15 seconds and finished 2nd in the Meeting di Savona Championship in Italy.
The Italy based Sri Lankan sprinter had established a new South Asian and a national men’s 100m record with a timing of 10.16 (+0.4)secs at an international meet in Dessau/Germany in September last year.
