Sri Lanka T20I squad for Australia tour 2022 announced

The Selection Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) today announced the squad taking part in the ‘Sri Lanka Tour of Australia 2022.’

Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa has given the go-ahead to the squad named by the national cricket board.

Meanwhile, Rumesh Ratnayake has been appointed as the interim coach of the national team for the upcoming tour.

Sri Lanka will play five T20Is during the tour.

The matches will be played across three venues, the Sydney Cricket Ground, Manuka Oval, and Melbourne Cricket Ground, starting from the 11th of February, 2022.

• 15th February, 2022 - Sri Lanka vs Australia - Manuka Oval
• 18th February, 2022 - Sri Lanka vs Australia - Melbourne Cricket Ground
• 20th February, 2022 - Sri Lanka vs Australia - Melbourne Cricket Ground
