Sri Lankan’s Thushen Silva wins Silver at Asian Youth (U18) in Uzbekistan

Junior athlete Thushen Silva has bagged a Silver medal for Sri Lanka at the Asian Youth (U18) Athletics Championship 2023 held in Uzbekistan.
Silva, who is a student of Maris Stella College in Negombo, cleared 4.70m in Pole Vault to claim second place in the event.
A seven-member squad of junior athletes is in Tashkent, Uzbekistan taking part in the championship, held from April 27 to 30.
