Sadeera scores maiden ODI century

Sri Lankan batsman Sadeera Samarawickrama scored his maiden ODI century during the ICC World Cup match against Pakistan on Tuesday (10 Oct.).

The 28-year-old wicket-keeper batsman reached three figures against Pakistan in 82 balls, with 10 fours and 2 sixes.

Earlier on in the match, Kusal Mendis slammed his third ODI century, and his maiden World Cup ton, in 66 balls, making it the fastest century scored by a Sri Lankan player in a World Cup. 

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, India, and currently have a score of 331/6 on the board.
