95th Battle of the Maroons ends in a draw

The 95th ‘Battle of the Maroons’ annual school cricket encounter between Ananda College and Nalanda College has ended in a draw on Sunday.
Batting first in this three-day match at the SSC Cricket Ground, Ananda College scored 324 runs for the loss of 6 wickets and declared the innings.
In response, Nalanda College, after losing 6 wickets, decided to declare their innings with 325 runs on the board.
As a result, Ananda College, which started the second innings trailing by just one run, finished the day with 27 runs for the loss of one wicket.
This marks the 76th big match between the two schools that ended in a draw.
