In Group 1 match of Super 12 round of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and elected to bowl first against Sri Lanka at Sharjah Cricket Ground today.
The Proteas have one change in their playing 11, bringing in Quinton de Kock for Henrich Klassen while Sri Lanka is unchaged from previous match.
De Kock made himself available for his team’s remaining matches of the T20 World Cup, saying he is fine taking a knee if it ‘educates others’ and that he was deeply hurt at being called a racist for not making the gesture against West Indies.
