Inspiring story of Bhutan: PM Tshering Tobgay explains how the country is carbon negative

In an inspiring TED talk, Bhutan’s Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay, talks about how this quaint country has not just kept its promise to remain carbon neutral but stand as the most carbon negative country in the world. 

He lays special emphasis on Bhutan’s aim to put happiness before economic growth.

With a population of barely 700,000 sandwiched between two of the most populated countries on earth, China and India, the mountainous landlocked Kingdom of Bhutan has been hailed as one of the greenest countries on Earth.

In an illuminating Ted Talk, the current Prime Minister of Bhutan, Tshering Tobgay, revealed that the country is not just carbon neutral but is carbon negative.
