Vietnam President addresses Sri Lanka’s Parliament…

President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, addressed the Parliament of Sri Lanka on Friday (08). Upon his arrival at the Parliament of Sri Lanka, President To Lam was received by Speaker of Parliament Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne and Secretary General of Parliament Kushani Rohanadeera. Thereafter, he signed the visitors’ commemorative book and engaged in a cordial discussion with Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne. President To Lam made history as the first Head of State to address the Parliament of Sri Lanka after a lapse of 11 years.
