Six dolphins have washed ashore on the Kalutara South beach, raising concerns among wildlife officials and marine conservationists.

According to the Department of Wildlife Conservation’s Veterinary Unit, all six marine mammals were found with visible injuries.

Meanwhile, lifeguards stationed along the Kalutara coastline reported that the sea has been unusually rough in recent days, which may have contributed to the stranding.
