President leaves on official visit to South Korea

President Mahinda Rajapaksa left Sri Lanka last night (April 22) on an official visit to South Korea on the invitation of the South Korean President, Presidential Spokesman Bandula Jayasekera stated.

 

He said that a few bilateral agreements will be discussed during the President’s visit which will end on April 27.

 

The President will also deliver a special speech to the Sri Lankan-Korean Business Forum.

 

The President is also scheduled to meet with trade association leaders in South Korea during his visit.
