Ven. Galabodaaththe Gnanasara, 13 others acquitted

The Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Ven. Galabodaaththe Gnanasara and 13 others including three monks charged with attacking the Cavalry Church in Thalahena at Malabe on July 7, 2008 were acquitted today.

 

The accused were charged with causing damages to the Calvary Chruch, caused injuries to the two pastors, stolen a mobile phone worth Rs. 15,000 and snatched a gold chain worth Rs. 50,000 that belonged to the pastors.

 

All the suspects have been acquitted by the Colombo High Court.
