Thirteen more Navymen recover from COVID-19

Thirteen more Sri Lanka Navy personnel who had contracted the novel coronavirus have completely recovered from the illness, stated Sri Lanka Navy.

Accordingly, a total of 313 naval personnel have recovered from the disease so far.

These discharged navy men will be kept under quarantine for another 14 days in compliance with the healthcare regulations.

The total number of coronavirus cases reported in Sri Lanka is at 1,141.

Currently, 458 active cases are under medical care at selected hospitals across the country, as per the Epidemiology Unit.

Meanwhile, 674 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospital upon complete recovery from the illness.

Sri Lanka has recorded nine fatalities from the virus.
