Businessman stabbed to death in Mt. Lavinia

A businessman has been stabbed to death in Mount Lavinia this evening (Jan. 31), the police reported.
The body of the deceased was found at De Seram Road, based on a piece of information received by the Mount Lavinia Police at around 4.50 p.m. this evening through the emergency hotline 119.
Swinging into action, the police had inspected the scene, where they found the said businessman’s body lying on the ground with fatal wounds.
It is believed that the deceased had been stabbed to death by his brother-in-law who fled the scene.
Mount Lavinia Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
