Two girls drown in Galgamuwa Palukadawala Lake

Two girls, aged 12 and 17, have drowned while bathing in the Palukadawala Lake in Galgamuwa this afternoon (13), Police said.
They had gone swimming in the lake while visiting a relative’s house.
They are residents of Ratnapura and Mirigama.
The bodies of the deceased are currently placed at the morgue of the Galgamuwa Base Hospital.
