Fire at garment factory in Katunayake

A fire has broken out in a garment factory in the investment promotion zone in Katunayake on Monday (13) morning - Police said.

Police said that the fire was extinguished with the support of the Fire Brigade and the Katunayake police, in few hours. 

No casualties were reported in the incident. 

A team representing the Government Analyst’s Department will visit the premises tomorrow for further investigations.
