Customs agrees to release 506 BYD electric vehicles

Sri Lanka Customs today (03) gave an undertaking to the Court of Appeal that it will release a total of 506 detained BYD electric vehicles, subject to the submission of additional bank guarantees.

The undertaking was given when a petition filed by the John Keells Holdings PLC, the importer of the electrical vehicles, was taken up before the Court of Appeal, said Ada Derana reporter.
