The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal to commence the recruitment process to fill 8,547 vacancies in various departments and state institutions.

The Cabinet approval was granted last year to appoint a committee comprised of officials headed by the Secretary to the Prime Minister to take necessary actions to identify requirements within the government service.

Accordingly, considering the requests and recommendations forwarded by the said committee to fill vacancies to posts within departments and other institutions the Prime Minister has presented a Cabinet paper which has received approval from the Cabinet.
