Enforcement of mandatory seat belts law for vehicles using expressways postponed

The enforcement of the law requiring all drivers and passengers of vehicles travelling on expressways to wear seat belts, which was scheduled to take effect today (20), has been postponed.
The relevant Gazette notification has been issued by Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development, Bimal Rathnayake.
