Welipenna Interchange entry to Southern Expressway flooded

The entrance to the Southern Expressway towards Colombo at the Welipenna Interchange has been inundated due to heavy rainfall, the Road Development Authority (RDA) said.

As a result, light vehicles are currently unable to enter the expressway towards Colombo from that point.
