Showers expected in certain parts of the country

The Meteorology Department says showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Ratnapura, Kalutara, Galle and Matara districts in the evening or night.

Mainly dry weather will prevail in the other areas of the island, it said.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
