The price of Litro domestic LP gas cylinders will be reduced with effect from today (05), the Chairman of Litro Gas Lanka, Channa Gunawardana, announced.

 

Accordingly, the price of a 12.5 kg cylinder will be reduced by Rs. 100 to Rs. 4,365, while the price of a 5 kg cylinder will be reduced by Rs. 42 to Rs. 1,750.

 

The price of the 2.3 kg cylinder will also be reduced by Rs. 20 to Rs. 815, the statement said. 

 

Litro Gas Lanka said that despite rising international gas prices and challenging exchange rate conditions, it had decided to reduce the prices of domestic gas cylinders for September 2026 in order to provide relief to consumers.
